Uber’s autonomous driving unit has suffered since a fatal accident in May involving a self-driving vehicle in Tempe, Ariz. Uber closed its testing facilities in the Phoenix area after the accident, and former Uber employees have said the company could be looking to sell its autonomous driving unit.
