Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital has reduced average call wait times by 58% and daily call abandonment by 56% after deploying AI agents from Hyro.
Within two weeks of launch, the health system also saw a 21% increase in scheduled appointments through its experience center, according to a Nov. 25 news release from Hyro. The company’s voice agents now handle scheduling, billing, prescription refills and MyChart support for the health system.
Tampa General cited Hyro’s focus on healthcare and integration with Epic and other systems as key to the partnership. The AI agents were deployed within three months.
