Stanford (Calif.) University is inviting health system executives to participate in a four-week program focused on AI leadership and strategy.
“Stanford AI in Healthcare Leadership and Strategy: from Innovation to Implementation” takes place in May and June and combines online learning, live virtual conversations and a two-day in-person session at the university. Attendees will learn how to assess AI models, evaluate readiness, steer governance, and incorporate solutions into existing clinical and operational workflows.
“This program is designed to create sustained interactions among participants working on similar problems, and direct engagement with leaders across academia, health systems, and industry who have real experience deploying AI in healthcare,” said Ethan Goh, MD, co-director of the program and executive director of the Stanford AI Research and Science Evaluation Network, aka ARISE, in a March 4 news relesae. “Those relationships, and the shared problem-solving that comes with them, are a core part of the program.”
Guest lecturers will include experts from OpenAI, Google, Boston-based Harvard Medical School, the FDA, and pharma giant Roche, as well as Stanford leaders such as Nigam Shah, MD, PhD, chief data scientist of Palo Alto, Calif.-based Stanford Health Care.
