Albuquerque, N.M.-based Presbyterian Healthcare Services expanded its clinical AI platform to 200 primary care clinicians, marking the system’s first full deployment of the technology.
The rollout follows a pilot that identified more than 200 patient conditions across 10,000 encounters and delivered 17,000 personalized treatment responses, according to a Feb. 3 news release. Clinicians said the platform reduced manual chart reviews and consolidated relevant patient data into a single workflow within the Epic EHR.
Presbyterian leaders said the platform supports efforts to manage clinical complexity and improve performance in value-based care models. The system aims to reduce administrative burden while improving visibility into clinical history, payer criteria, social drivers of health and guideline-based recommendations.
The platform was developed by GW RhythmX and includes an AI assistant designed to provide condition-specific answers at the point of care, the release said.
