PartsSource, a clinical technology performance platform, has named former Epic executive Nick Marzotto vice president of AI and data, tasking him with leading the company’s AI strategy.
Mr. Marzotto joins PartsSource after 15 years at Epic, where he most recently served as vice president of clinical applications and AI starting in 2020. In that role, he led an enterprise generative AI initiative that the company said produced a 32-fold increase in adoption across 500 health systems, and he helped build governance infrastructure for customers deploying AI.
He said PartsSource has the opportunity to build “the same kind of connected intelligence around the clinical assets that make care possible” that the EHR brought to patient data, according to a Sept. 1 news release.
Marzotto’s hire comes amid a broader stretch of AI and R&D leadership turnover at Epic in 2026. PartsSource, backed by Bain Capital Private Equity, serves more than 5,000 hospitals and 15,000 clinical sites nationwide through its clinical technology management platform.
