Duke Health, Texas Health Resources partner with clinical AI company

Cadence, a clinical AI company focused on chronic disease management, has raised $100 million in Series C funding and announced new partnerships with Duke Health and Texas Health Resources as it expands its footprint among health systems.

The funding round was led by Spark Capital and included participation from Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Coatue, B Capital, Corewell Health Ventures, Memorial Hermann and Duke Health, according to a July 22 news release.

The company also announced new affiliations with Durham, N.C.-based Duke Health and Arlington-based Texas Health Resources. With the additions, Cadence said it now works with more than 20 health systems nationwide and supports more than 100,000 active patients.

Cadence’s platform uses AI-powered tools to help health systems manage patients with chronic conditions between office visits.
