City of Hope, based in Duarte, Calif., has developed a proprietary AI platform called HopeLLM.

The platform combines commercial and open-source models to assist physicians in summarizing patients’ medical histories, matching them with clinical trials, and extracting data for research, according to a June 24 news release.

HopeLLM is available across City of Hope’s national clinical network. It can instantly determine clinical trial eligibility and organizes patient data into research-ready formats, according to the release.
