CHOC Children’s (Orange, Calif.). CHOC Children’s is home to the Sharon Disney Lund Medical Intelligence and Innovation Institute, an institute focused innovation and intelligence in pediatric medicine. The institute fosters development in artificial intelligence methodologies and advances in emerging areas such as genomic medicine, regenerative medicine, robotics, nanotechnology and medical applications. The program also hosts a summer internship with more than 50 expert mentors, open to students in multiple fields, as well as open monthly meetings that serve as idea exchanges between innovators.
