AMN Healthcare’s Language Services has acquired Jaide Health, an AI-enabled medical interpretation and translation platform designed to support limited English proficiency patients.
Dallas-based AMN said the deal extends its language access capabilities beyond clinical interactions — where credentialed human interpreters remain the standard — into administrative touchpoints such as intake, discharge instructions and routine written communications, according to a June 9 company news release. Jaide Health’s platform is already live across multiple healthcare settings.
“By expanding language support across more moments in the healthcare journey, we can help health systems deliver a more seamless experience for patients and care teams while continuing to rely on the critical expertise of our qualified interpreters when it matters most,” Cary Grace, president and CEO of AMN Healthcare, said in the news release.
The Jaide Health team will join AMN Healthcare as part of the transaction.
AMN Healthcare is one of the largest healthcare workforce and language services companies in the U.S., and the acquisition positions it to compete across the full patient communication continuum as health systems face growing regulatory and operational pressure to serve LEP populations.
