Four health systems participated in a $150 million funding round for clinical artificial intelligence company Aidoc.
The round, led by General Catalyst and Square Peg, aims to accelerate development of Aidoc’s CARE platform — a foundation model designed to assist physicians with clinical decision-making — according to a July 23 news release. It also includes a $40 million revolving credit facility, bringing Aidoc’s total funding to $370 million.
Aidoc said the investment will support the continued rollout of CARE and the expansion of aiOS, its enterprise-grade platform for managing AI deployment at scale in clinical settings.
The participating health systems were Hartford (Conn.) HealthCare, Mercy (St. Louis), Sutter Health (Sacramento, Calif.) and WellSpan Health (York, Pa.).
