Here are 10 AI-focused positions listed on health system career sites as of Sept. 25:
- AI technical architect, Rush University Medical Center: Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center is hiring an AI technical architect to help design and govern scalable, secure and compliant AI, machine learning and analytics architecture across the organization. The full-time role is part of Rush’s AI Center of Excellence and reports to the director of AI and innovation.
- Director of AI and robotics, Mayo Clinic: Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic is seeking a director of AI and robotics. The full-time role is focused on advancing Mayo’s robotics program, including translating standards into practice, overseeing program operations and helping prepare the organization for broader use of robotics.
- Associate manager of AI, Mayo Clinic: Mayo Clinic is also hiring an associate manager of AI to help move AI initiatives from development through implementation. Responsibilities include overseeing governance workflows, tracking performance and helping assigned AI initiatives reach completion and value realization.
- AI/ML engineer, post-deployment, Mayo Clinic: Another Mayo opening focuses on what happens after an AI tool goes live. The AI and machine learning engineer will work on post-deployment monitoring, reporting and lifecycle evidence for clinical AI products.
- Legal counsel for healthcare AI and emerging technologies, Mayo Clinic: Mayo Clinic is also recruiting an attorney to advise the organization on AI, machine learning and other emerging technologies. The role focuses on legal, regulatory and practical issues surrounding AI governance and applications across Mayo Clinic’s clinical, research and business operations.
- Senior program manager of AI initiatives, Central Health: Austin, Texas-based Central Health is hiring a senior program manager to help shape how the system governs, operationalizes and scales AI-enabled solutions. The role includes building governance processes, managing the AI portfolio lifecycle and helping move use cases through implementation.
- Senior AI governance, risk and compliance analyst, UT Southwestern Medical Center: Dallas-based UT Southwestern Medical Center is hiring an analyst focused on AI governance, risk and compliance within its information security department. The position will help design and implement a framework to evaluate, validate and monitor AI models across UT Southwestern environments.
- Manager of artificial intelligence governance, Sutter Health: Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health is recruiting a manager to lead its AI governance program.
