AHRQ aims to collect information in order to identify the specific challenges to eligibility for incentive payments; adoption, implementation or upgrading of EHRs; and achievement of meaningful use. After it has collected this information, the organization plans to develop recommendations on how to overcome these barriers and provide data to help inform meaningful use objectives for Stage 2 and 3 of meaningful use.
The organization will use a screening questionnaire to identify and select eligible participants who will be part of the survey’s focus groups. The proposed survey will take place over two years.
