The research funding will come from the $4 million recently added to the AHRQ’s budget by Congress in recognition of the agency’s importance in the healthcare industry.
The AHRQ is especially interested in projects that focus on post-implementation safety testing for EHRs, EHR-related patient safety risks, EHR system integrity and other topics.
