The endorsement comes out of Health Forum, AHA’s strategic business enterprise, which awards the AHA Endorsement to products and services that help member hospitals and healthcare organizations promote operational excellence.

Teladoc’s platform, which can integrate with EHRs, allows hospitals and health systems to manage their own telehealth programs. Patients can use Teladoc for scheduling or consultations, via online video, phone or mobile app; physicians can also use the cloud-based solution to review patient medical history, prescribe medication and communicate with other team members.
