Adventist Health System, headquartered in Altamonte Springs, Fla., selected athenahealth's EHR for its 1,600 employed physicians.
"After an extensive evaluation that included stakeholders from clinical, operations, technology and other areas across our system, Adventist Health System selected athenahealth for its usability, provider efficiency, ability to be used to improve operations and demonstrated innovation in support of advanced ambulatory care," said Bryan Stiltz, senior vice president of physician enterprise for Adventist Health System.
Adventist Health has 44 hospital campuses across 10 states.
