Most Adventist Health facilities utilize Cerner EMR and revenue cycle platforms; however, 50 of its ambulatory clinics in the Pacific Northwest use Epic’s platforms. Per the partnership, HCTec will take over EMR support operations for the ambulatory clinics.

HCTec will also provide the clinics support for maintenance tasks, new clinic built and future projects. HCTec will offer its services via onsite analysts, trainers and management as well as its service centers in Texas and Georgia.

“This is a strategic partnership approach for Adventist Health to manage our clinical application stack, including Epic for our ambulatory clinics in an efficient, best practice methodology with HCTec,” said Jennifer Stemmler, Adventist Health’s IT innovation and strategy leader.
