For the report, titled 2017 Internet of Health Things Survey, Accenture surveyed C-suite leaders from 77 healthcare payers and 77 healthcare providers about their investments in IoT technologies.
Here are the top five concerns respondents cited as moderate to extensive barriers to healthcare IoT adoption.
1. Privacy concerns: 55 percent
2. Legacy systems and equipment: 55 percent
3. Security concerns: 54 percent
4. Technology immaturity: 53 percent
5. Lack of budget: 53 percent
