Abbott joins incubator MATTER’s advisory board

Global healthcare company Abbott is collaborating with MATTER, the Chicago-based healthcare incubator, to advance innovation in healthcare.

Abbott joins seven other healthcare organizations as a platinum-level partner and will help identify and possibly commercialize technologies and innovations. Abbott will also serve as a mentor to MATTER’s startup companies.

“At Abbott, we are on a mission to help people live their best lives, and innovation is at the center of everything we do,” said John Capek, PhD, executive vice president of Ventures at Abbott. “We look forward to collaborating with entrepreneurs and other industry leaders at MATTER to identify and support the growth of next-generation technologies that help people live better, more fulfilling lives.”
