9 health systems honored for excellence in IT

Nine health systems were named to the CIO 100 list for excellence in IT.

The 2023 awards from the media company went to organizations whose “innovations improve customer experiences, track sustainability and reduce risk,” according to a March 27 news release.

The health system honorees are:

1. Atlantic Health System (Morristown, N.J.)

2. Bellin and Gundersen Health System (Green Bay and La Crosse, Wis.)

3. ChristianaCare (Newark, Del.)

4. Kaiser Permanente (Oakland, Calif.)

5. Novant Health (Winston-Salem, N.C.)

6. Penn Medicine (Philadelphia)

7. Stanford Health Care (Palo Alto, Calif.)

8. Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at University of Miami Health

9. UNC Health (Chapel Hill, N.C.)
