7 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were announced within the past week.

1. Boston-based PatientPing partnered with Worcester-based UMass Memorial Health Care to improve interoperability efforts and patient care coordination.

2. Houston Methodist connected to the Greater Houston Healthconnect, a regional health information exchange serving 23 counties in southeast Texas.

3. Miami-based Baptist Health South Florida unveiled a new digital health platform providing virtual visits. The health system partnered with telehealth company American Well to provide the telehealth services.

4. Lawrenceville, Ga.-based Twiage, a cloud-based pre-hospital communication solution, launched its app at three of Boston-based Steward Health System's hospitals.

5. UMass Memorial Health Care plans to implement Agfa HealthCare's enterprise imaging platform.

6. South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth, Mass., implemented MedAptus' Pro Charge Capture solution for inpatient encounter documentation.

7. The Kansas Department of Health selected Hewlett Packard Enterprise to update the state's Medicaid Management Information System.
