6 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were reported within the past week.

1. Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, is planning to upgrade its MEDITECH EHR to the 6.1 platform.

2. Lynchburg, Va.-based Centra Health selected Cerner to implement a health IT system across its five hospitals, more than 50 ambulatory and long-term are facilities and health plan.

3. Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Miss., is preparing for a June 1 implementation of its upgraded MEDITECH EHR.

4. New Hampshire Health Information Organization selected TigerText as its healthcare communications provider.

5. ColumbiaDoctors, which is comprised of providers at Columbia University Medical Center in New York, selected DocASAP to give its patients advanced online scheduling capabilities.

6. Nashville, Tenn.-based Urgent Team selected DocuTAP for its urgent care EMR system, practice management software and revenue cycle management services.
