3. Auxilio, a Mission Viejo, Calif.-based health IT company, acquired Austin-based CynergisTek for an initial value of approximately $26.8 million in combined cash, stock and seller debt.
4. McKesson Health Solutions' InterQual Criteria is accessible through the cloud-based implementations of InterQual Online, InterQual Anonymous Review and InterQual Transparency.
5. Burlington-based University of Vermont Health Network is hoping for state regulatory permission to implement a $112.4 million Epic EHR system.
6. Allscripts and ePatientFinder, a clinical trial site optimization company, released a new patient identification and analytics tool: GeoPrecise.
