6 Prime Healthcare hospitals deploy nurse call systems

Six hospitals that are part of Prime Healthcare, a 45-hospital system based in Ontario, Calif., implemented Critical Alert Systems' nurse call solution.

The six hospitals are:

• Encino Hospital Medical Center in Encino, Calif.
• Harlingen (Texas) Medical Center
• Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, Texas
• Pampa (Texas) Regional Medical Center
• Paradise Valley Hospital in National City, Calif.
• St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nev.

Critical Alert's Nurse Call System integrates with wireless clinical communications devices, smart phones, real-time locating systems, beds, staffing and patient engagement platforms. The native integrations aim to streamline clinical communications and avoid interruptions.

The system also features the Nurse Call Reporting Package, which offers a comprehensive overview of nursing operations, workflow, rounding compliance as well as other measures.
