Here are five things to know about Viewics.
1. Viewics’ flagship product is Viewics Health Inisighter, a cloud-based software solution which allows healthcare organizations to extract, aggregate and organize data.
2. Viewics data analysis capabilities include visualization, analytics and sharing/transparency with patients, payers and providers.
3. Viewics has over 100 hospital and laboratory customers, which process data for about 20 million patients and 650 million tests in total.
4. In addition to securing funding from Canvas, Viewics will also gain two new board members. Canvas Venture Fund general partner Rebecca Lynn and Morado Venture Partners cofounder Ash Patel will be joining Viewics’ board of directors.
5. Viewics is based in Sunnyvale, Calif., and was founded in 2009 by Tim Kuruvilla, Jai Bhatia and Dhiren Bhatia.
