- Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic announced Jan. 27 that it has chosen Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications to run its business processes, including enterprise resource planning, supply chain management and human resources.
- Google announced a partnership with the University of California Santa Cruz Genomics Institute to create an AI-powered method that accelerates genome sequencing data analysis for faster disease detection.
- YouTube has inked a partnership with the New England Journal of Medicine in an attempt to boost access to accurate health information and disseminate public health knowledge. The Journal will have a YouTube channel dedicated to explaining study summaries and findings through creative storytelling.
- Microsoft joined a coalition composed of leading organizations from across the healthcare and life sciences industry focused on providing recommendations, tools and best practices for using AI in healthcare.
- Johnson & Johnson inked a deal with Microsoft to help build a cloud-connected software system for its digital surgery solutions.
