4 pieces of health tech that made it to CES 2022 

CES 2022 has converged on Las Vegas to showcase technological innovations from some of the world's biggest companies. Here are four  pieces of health tech inventions that made it to the convention, as reported by Wired and the Wall Street Journal on Jan. 5. 

1. Movano ring fitness and health tracker

The fitness tracking ring developed by Pleasanton, Calif.-based Movano can track exercise and sleep. The company is seeking FDA approval to provide medical grade insights. 

2. Pedia_Roid emergency training robot

Japan-based Tmsuk Co. has created a child simulator doll that can be used to train emergency medics and physicians.

3. Sengled smart health monitoring light

The Alpharetta, Ga.-based company claims the bulb can track the body temperature, heart rate and sleep of any person in the room. 

4. Withings full body scan

The body scan developed by French wellness company Withings is a glass platform with sensors that can tell users their sweat gland function, water and fat analysis.
