Data, such as reports, policies and reimbursement contracts, will automatically be reviewed, updated and linked to their associated ICD-10 codes. The software includes an updated version of 3M’s ICD-10 Code Translation Tool that will also scan for Current Procedural Technology and other HCPCS codes and convert them to ICD-10.

The translation tool also enables users to analyze clinical information and organize data at their specific direction. ICD-10 transition teams will be able to utilize the software to normalize reports, educate staff and reduce the time and resources being directed to code conversion, according to a statement from 3M.
