In a letter to employees, 23andMe CEO Anne Wojcicki wrote, “Andy and I recognize 23andMe is at a stage of strength and maturity where it would benefit from one single leader. Moving forward, Andy’s direct reports will report to me.”

Recode was not aware of where, if anywhere, Mr. Page plans to work next.

Mr. Page previously served as president of the Gilt Groupe, CFO of PlayPhone and CFO of StubHub.
