12 states revisiting their telemedicine policies

Currently, 12 states are revising their telemedicine regulations through rulemaking or other means, according to a report in Politico.

The 12 states include: Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

However, the revisions being made state-by-state differ. “It’s a moving target. Most of them are moving forward… Some of them are moving back,” Kofi Jones, vice president of public affairs at American Well, said at the AHIP State Health Issues Conference Friday, according to the report.
