Companies added 25,500 tech workers in September, bringing the unemployment rate for the sector down to 2.1 percent, Computerworld reported Oct. 20.

3. Capital One: 3,138

4. The Boeing Co.: 3,046

5. Humana: 3,011

6. Amazon: 2,818

8. KPMG: 2,507

9. Accenture: 1,930

10. Raytheon: 1,895
