What hospitals think about 3 revenue cycle outsourcing companies

The financial fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic led to hospitals partnering with external revenue cycle outsourcing companies to help control costs, according to a Sept. 21 KLAS research report.

The report asked hospital clients to give their revenue cycle outsourcing vendor a performance score out of 100. Each company had at least three hospital clients.

Here are the scores of three revenue cycle outsourcing companies:

  1. Ensemble Health Partners: 92.9
  2. Guidehouse: 89.5
  3. R1: 71.6
