WellSky acquires RCM company

Healthcare software company WellSKy has acquired Corridor — which provides coding and revenue cycle platforms for the post-acute sector — from HealthEdge Investment Partners, a healthcare-focused private equity firm.

The acquisition expands WellSky’s medical coding and revenue cycle management offerings to help care providers boost efficiency and performance across clinical, financial, operational and compliance areas.

“Providers today must continually demonstrate higher quality performance and compliance, and they’re looking for solutions to support quality patient care and reduce administrative burdens,” WellSky CEO Bill Miller said in an Oct. 12 news release. “Together, WellSky and Corridor help more post-acute care organizations succeed against industry challenges..

The deal comes on the heels of WellSky’s August acquisition of Experience Care, a tech company for long-term and post-acute care providers, further demonstrating its commitment to the long-term care market. Experience Care’s NetSolutions EHR system serves 150 long-term care clients across 850 facilities.
