The expansion includes building a two-story, 52,775-square-foot addition on the hospital’s north side, relocating the helipad and demolishing the previous Waupun Area Clinic, according to the report.
The second floor of the addition will house patient services, including 21 inpatient rooms, 15 medical/surgical rooms, three intensive care unit rooms and three labor/delivery/recovery and postpartum rooms, according to the report. The first floor will feature support services, such as the loading dock and access to the helipad. The remaining space will be left unfinished to accommodate future growth.
