Here are four things to know about Dr. Glazer.
1. Dr. Glazer is an assistant professor of medicine at VUMC.
2. In his new position, he will collaborate with Vanderbilt Health System clinical chairs and operational leaders, as well as the board of the Vanderbilt Medical Group, to coordinate patient care and management processes. Dr. Glazer will also help develop and oversee compliance of privacy, documentation and coding standards at VUMC as it implements an Epic EHR.
3. He will report to C. Wright Pinson, MD, deputy CEO and chief health system officer of VUMC.
4. Dr. Glazer earned his medical degree at the University of Louisville (Ky.) and completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Atlanta-based Emory University.
