Vermont bank awards $25k to Southwestern Vermont Health Care

Bennington-based Southwestern Vermont Health Care received a $25,000 donation from The Bank of Bennington to establish several interactive, child friendly waiting areas, according to the Bennington Banner.

The waiting area, named Kids Korner, will be created at the Women’s and Children’s unit at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.

“Southwestern Vermont Health Care is grateful to The Bank of Bennington for its support, partnership, and generosity,” Thomas A. Dee, SVHC president and CEO, said while accepting the donation, according to the Bennington Banner. “We are committed to providing exceptional care to our community, and The Bank of Bennington Kids Korner will definitely have a positive impact for patients and families.”
