The MDsave platform allows patients to geographically search by procedure, provider, specialty or ailment, and compare the pricing of services across locations. Patients can then purchase the service at a reduced cost through the MDsave website.
“In today’s marketplace, healthcare can be confusing and expensive, especially for consumers who are uninsured or who must pay large out-of-pocket amounts,” Valley Baptist Health System CEO Manny Vela said in a prepared statement. “This service can help these patients access the same quality healthcare they have come to expect at our hospital at a lower cost.”
