The VA Financial Services Center is tasked with evaluating and paying medical claims from private providers outside of the agency’s medical facilities. To support this process, the VA Technology Acquisition Center is seeking an IT tool or system to identify fraud, waste and abuse during the adjudication process for medical claims.
Under the RFI, the VA Technology Acquisition Center asked interested IT contractors to submit information on how their software would be able to reduce issues associated with medical claims at the agency. The VA Technology Acquisition Center requested a summary of each contractor’s technical approach, proposed staffing plan and compensation structure, among other considerations.
