The bill would force Intermountain, the largest health system in the state, to make public its executive compensation and show how much tax revenue the health system would generate if it lost its tax-exempt status, according to the report.
Supporters of the bill said that Intermountain uses its tax-exempt status to “to smother competition from other health care providers,” according to the report.
Intermountain did not comment in the report.
