University Health Care System picks RightPatient technologies

Augusta, Ga.-based University Health Care System has implemented RightPatient biometric patient identification technologies to improve patient safety, data integrity and revenue cycle management.

RightPatient, a biometric patient safety, patient data integrity and patient engagement system, uses patient biometrics to identify patients and retrieve the correct medical record.

As of Tuesday, nearly 50,000 University Health patients had enrolled in the system.
