UC Health, based in Cincinnati, and Anthem were pitted in a reimbursement dispute for the past several months, and the deal was completed before the April 15 deadline.

In a statement, UC Health President and CEO Jim Kingsbury said: “I’m pleased that the matter has been resolved with Anthem and that patients will not be charged out-of-network rates for their care.”

UC Health includes University of Cincinnati Medical Center, West Chester (Ohio) Hospital and UC Physicians, the largest multispecialty physician group in Cincinnati.
