Now, a new resource can be added to the list in Massachusetts. That resource is Saveonmedical.com. Providers list their self-pay prices on the website and can update their pricing, have direct communication with patients and collect patient feedback.
The website is the only one of its kind currently operating in Massachusetts, according to The Boston Globe.
This resource, however, is limited. The only prices shown are from providers who purchased ads on the website, although the website does offer to get a quote for other providers who are listed with no prices, according to The Boston Globe.
At Saveonmedical.com, customers prepay in cash and book their appointments online.
