However, Tenet has yet to agree to a new contract with two Missouri health plans — Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Missouri and HealthLink, both of which are part of WellPoint, according to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch report.
Tenet and WellPoint are continuing to negotiate new terms to keep the two St. Louis hospitals in-network. The two sides have been stuck on rate increases, as the insurers said Tenet wanted “substantial” rate increases. The hospitals have said the insurers have not provided any counter proposals.
