Here are 3 things to know:
1. TeamHealth’s net revenue increased to $878.0 million. This was a 30.1% increase from second quarter 2014.
2. Net earings were $28.9 million; $51.2 million after adjustments
3. TeamHealth’s projected 2015 new revenue growth increased to a range of 24% to 26%
TeamHealth President and CEO, Mike Snow, commented in the press release on the success of TeamHealth’s second quarter.
“Second quarter consolidated revenue growth was drive by positive contributions from acquisitions, new net contract sales and same contract results,” said Snow.
TeamHealth also recently signed a deal in August to acquire IPC Healthcare at $1.6B. The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter 2015.
