Through the arrangement, TeamHealth and InQuicker will jointly market the Online Waiting Room service to hospitals as a means for improving patient satisfaction, optimizing staff efficiency and retaining patients, according to the report.

InQuicker users receive real-time notifications of projected ED treatment times via phone or email. While patients would still be subject to the same triage and queuing procedures as other ED visitors, InQuicker users could choose to wait at home instead of in the ED waiting area, according to the report.
