Here are three things to know.

1. The extension appears as a bar at the edge of an online browser window and enables users to search for medical codes and Correct Coding Initiative edits, regardless of the website they’re using, according to a news release.

2. The service provides same-screen access to code searching while providers review EMR notes, file claims or research a payer’s coding requirements.

3. Other features include code search by “right-clicking” text and color-coding CCI results, among others.
