Syncordia to acquire majority stake in Billing Solutions

Syncordia Technologies, based in Toronto, Canada, has entered into an agreement to acquire 80 percent of the issued and outstanding interests in Prescott, Ariz.-based Billing Solutions.

Billing Solutions is a third-party rehabilitation center billing solutions company focused on mental and behavioral health. Syncordia is an RCM company focused on underserved niche areas of healthcare.

“This acquisition represents another key milestone in our strategy to aggregate high-quality, privately owned healthcare companies in the revenue cycle, where Syncordia’s proprietary technology can be used as an accelerator,” said Michael Franks, CEO of Syncordia.
