Hospital Prices Stable in December

Hospital prices remained stable from Nov. 2011 to Dec. 2011, according to data recently published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

However, hospital prices grew 2.5 percent over the twelve months from Dec. 2010 to Dec. 2011. The BLS’ producer price index measures average changes in selling prices received by producers for their products and services.
