South Carolina cancer practice’s building sold to private equity for $48M

A building leased to Columbia-based South Carolina Oncology Associates was sold for $48 million, Commercial Property Executive reported Feb. 14.

The transaction was the area’s largest medical office sale in the past 12 months, the report said. It was last sold in 2014 for $38.5 million.

The purchase was financed with a $31.2 million loan, the report said. It was bought by private equity firm Montecito Medical from Spirit Realty.
