SEIU Sponsoring California Ballot Initiatives to End “Price Gouging”

The Service Employees International Union-United Healthcare Workers West is sponsoring two California ballot initiatives to end what it calls “price gouging” and expand charity care by hospitals, according to an SEIU-UHW news release.

Members of the union will collect signatures at Centinela Hospital in Inglewood, Calif., in an effort to bring the two initiatives to voters.
