The increase in revenue in fiscal 2014 was attributable largely to growth in net patient service revenue, which increased from $881.15 million in fiscal 2013 to $983.46 million in fiscal 2014.

Even with its non-operating income falling from $58.68 million in fiscal 2013 to $47.29 million in FY 2014, the system still ended fiscal 2014 with a $223.14 million total surplus, up from the $186.71 million total surplus the system reported for FY 2013.
